Grumpy’s Restaurant & Lounge Inc. of Grand Meadow, MN Announces Partial Ownership Transfer

Changing of the Guard at Grumpy’s as Kevin R. Chapman Assumes 50% Ownership and On Site Management of the Restaurant Operations.

Grand Meadow, MN, May 19, 2009:  Ross Manahan, President of Grumpy’s Restaurant & Lounge, Inc. announced today that Kevin R. Chapman, a long time Southern Minnesota resident has purchased the 50% ownership stock formerly held by Bradley Grafe of Grand Meadow. The other 50% of ownership stock continues to be held by Ross & Jill Manahan of Grand Meadow, MN.  Ross stated that Kevin will assume full-time on-site restaurant management responsibilities previously held by Mike Brakke of Rock Dell, MN.   The Grumpy’s ownership team plans a number of menu additions that include new Steak recipes, Signature Sandwiches & Unique Burgers to go along with their mainstay menu favorites including the Friday Night Fish-Fry and Grumpy’s Famous BBQ Ribs. Kevin Chapman, (Kevin@grumpysinc.com), stated his focus will be on exemplary food quality, consistency and retaining the top notch service that Grumpy’s has been known for in the past.

 

Grumpy’s Restaurant & Lounge seats approximately 175 people in a clean, comfortable & casual supper club environment; the restaurant serves 7 days a week with a wide variety of menu items.  The 10,000 sq. ft. Grumpy’s facility also houses an attached 4,500 sq ft. sports bar & entertainment area called the “South Side Saloon” & Billiards at Grumpys.  The construction of the Saloon, which replaced the Meadow Ballroom, completed Sept. 2008 and operates 7 days a week.  The South Side Saloon offers a fun filled atmosphere with nightly specials, Bar Bingo on Wednesday’s, Monthly Pool Tournaments and brings you a wide selection of area entertainment typical on weekends.   Menus and entertainment listings may be found on the Grumpy’s website at:  http://www.grumpysinc.com.
